You will be treated to two full days of touring, which include Sedona, among the world famous red rock formations, as well as a full tour of the Grand Canyon National Park. Arizona's wonder of the world is yours on both tour days with the best Grand Canyon South Rim views, and in the Navajo Nation to enjoy the expert craftsmanship and unique history of the local culture.

Day 1 - To see Arizona’s rich history, the Grand Canyon tour with Overnight Stay gives you an excellent chance to explore ancient Native American civilizations, marvel at the spectacular landscapes of Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and explore local and Navajo artisans of Sedona and the Navajo Nation. After departing the Phoenix metro area, Sedona will be our first stop along the tour. Guests will have a chance to photograph the famous Red Rocks, stretch their legs and take a quick walk around this picturesque town. While you are enjoying Sedona, your guide will pick up your excellent picnic lunch made fresh that morning before departing to the Grand Canyon. Upon departing Sedona, the tour passes through Oak Creek Canyon, a scenic byway that winds through 2000 vertical feet of a red walled canyon to emerge surrounded by the dense ponderosa pines of the Coconino National Forest.

Atop the Mogollon Rim, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff on our way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Guests will enjoy the magnificent views that open up in front of them while standing on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon which invites the feelings of being awe struck. While at the South Rim of the National Park, you will have opportunities to walk the rim, shop, capture an unlimited amount of photographs, or enjoy your lunch and relax with the best seat in the house. At approximately 1:30pm your guide will assist you in your hotel check in and you will have the remainder of the day to relax overlooking one of the Natural Wonders of the World.

Day 2 - During the morning hours you will have ample time to relax, take sunrise photographs overlooking the Grand Canyon, or even do a morning hike. At approximately 1:30pm, your Guide will pick you up from the front lobby of your Grand Canyon Hotel and further explore the "Canyon". Our days tour of the National Park we will explore the infamous 30-mile section of road that winds east along the rim of the canyon, showcasing the best rim views and history along the way including the Little Colorado River Gorge and various view points.

Before returning to Phoenix from the Grand Canyon, we will be treated to distant views of the Painted Desert as well as close up views of the Little Colorado River Gorge and Navajo Nation. The Painted Desert is the perfect backdrop for our stop in the Navajo Nation at a prominent trading post. You will be able to get a glimpse into the past, view the highest quality authentic Navajo artwork and craft work, as well as a gift shop to bring back souvenirs for friends and family.

  • It is imperative that you have both a dental and medical check-up and we recommend that you ensure your Tetanus inoculations are up to date. Our drivers and guides are first aid qualified and a comprehensive medical kit is carried at all times.
  • Individual luggage must be kept to a MAXIMUM of one piece of luggage less than 50 pounds or one daypack less than or equal to 40 litres. It is recommended to travel with a small day pack for easy access to camera, sun block, and clothing. It is recommended to plan ahead and arrange to store bulky items pre-tour. (We advise our clients to pack as lightly as possible)
  • Tempreatures in Sedona and Grand Canyon are typically 15-30° cooler than Phoenix and vary by season. We recommend our guests bring jackets in the event of changing weather patterns.
